Let's clean the sea of plastic

ECOMAR has been educating and raising awareness for 20 years, especially among children. Our President Theresa Zabell, the only Spanish woman with 2 Olympic gold medals is a reference in the world of sailing and upon retiring from competition has decided to give back to the sea everything it has given her. We have a motto which is, ¨Care for the only two places you can never move from, your body and your planet¨. With this philosophy we encourage young people to practice a healthy lifestyle through water sports and to engage in caring for the planet in their daily lives and also by performing activities such as coastal cleanups, workshops, etc..

The seas and oceans also provide us with food, medicine, oxygen, etc.... Fundamental elements for life on this planet. The problem is that we are rapidly deteriorating them. This project helps to educate, raise awareness and act on this problem by reaching thousands of children to generate a change of trend.
